Music Generation is Ireland’s National Music Education Programme. It aims to help children and young people to access vocal and instrumental tuition in their own locality.

Music Generation offers funding and support to establish Music Education Partnerships throughout Ireland.
There are two local music education partnerships operating under the auspices of Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board. These are Music Generation Limerick City and Music Generation Limerick County.
