Limerick City and County Council owns three recycling centres in Limerick which are operated under contract. Recycling Centre Opening Hours are: 10 am to 5 pm. Last entry is at 4:45 pm.

Revised gate charges at the Mungret, Newcastlewest, Kilmallock and Gortadroma Civic Amenity Sites as follows from April 28th:
Civic Amenity Sites:
- Car €7
- Car and Trailer (6ft x 4 ft) €16
- Light Van €16
- Double Axle Trailer (8ft x 4 ft) €32
Gortadroma:
- Waste disposal per car €32
- Waste disposal all other vehicle types - pay per weight/tonne €320
Please Note: The Recycling Centres in Mungret, Newcastlewest and Kilmallock are accepting green waste from both domestic and commercial customers.
There is FREE mulch/compost available to the public for collection from all 3 recycling centres.
